The Dig Ready thawing mat uses 120v for thawing frozen ground in 36-60 hours, even in the most brutal weather conditions. Thawed ground remains warm and dry for up to five days after thawing (provided it's covered), ready for excavation, saving time and money. The 16-layer infrared heating element converts 100% of the electricity used into heat, an area of 33 square feet (total mat area is 42 square feet).
