Art Tejada

Part of our mission is to provide around the clock access to an embalming specialist to answer any questions on the application of the items in Kelco's full line of embalming products.
Art Tejada joined the Kelco team in 2015 as our Embalming Tech Advisor and is available to answer your questions 24/7 through our phone system directory.
He has an extensive background with 40+ years of experience as an embalmer, reconstructive artist, Funeral Director, mortuary management, and consulting. His background includes education from Liberal Arts from Cypress School of Mortuary Science and Cal State. He is bi-lingual and has served as an advisory member for the CA Department of Consumer Affairs, Cemetery, and Funeral Bureau license committee.
Art is currently employed at Saddleback Chapel, Universal Chung Wah, and Hilgenfeld Mortuary in CA and has his own consulting service - Embalming is an Art.
In his spare time, Art likes to kayak and paddleboard in the Pacific and loves the adventures of exploring the California central coastline. He also loves a great craft beer!!
